He is survived by: his wife Wilda Carmouche Rideau; his children, Errol E. Rideau, Jr., Yale Rideau (TyRaesha), Roderick Rideau and Bridget Rideau; and his sister Mercedes R. Smith. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
