It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestine Lawson of Harvey, Louisiana, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her child Kie Lawson; her grandchild Adrian; her parents, Clarence Lawson and Cordelia Lawson; and her brother Ernest Lawson (Eva).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Davis (John), Irma Fay Pate (Elvin), Dorothy Lawson, Linda Lawson, Rev. David Lawson, Sr. (JoAnn), Nick Lawson and Ivory Lawson; her grandchildren, Danielle Hunter (Darrell), Deirdre Trosclair (Jamiras), Dana Lawson and Michael Lawson; her stepmother Ethel Lawson of Jackson, MS.; and her close friends, Ramona, Betty and Margaret. She is also survived by 55 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
