She was predeceased by: her spouse Everal Sampey; her grandchild Timothy; her sibling Eunice Bye (late Octave); and her parent Emma Hidalgo Grabert. She is survived by: her children, Harold Sampey (Fay), Floyd Sampey (Emily), David Sampey (Gail) and Loretta Palm (John); her grandchildren, Karen (Robert), Christine (late Leon), Nancy, Anthony (Toni), Holly, Floyd Jr. (Donnella), Chad (Julie), Kevin (Jennifer), Rickie (Chandra), Angelle (Seth), John III (Annette), Michael (Mandy) and Daniel (Katie); her siblings, Mae Pierce (late Arthur), Hubert Grabert (late Louise), Henry Grabert (late Marie), Lawrence Grabert (late Irene) and Madlene Dufrene (late Denis); and her parent Henry Hubert Grabert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
