He was predeceased by: his mother Effie Kraemer; and his father-in-law Robert Schroder. He is survived by: his spouse Dawn Schroder McDonald; his children, Ivy McDonald (Justin Anderson) and Kaci McDonald Buwe (Joshua); his grandchild Hunter Buwe; his parent Raymond Joseph McDonald; his sibling Connie McDonald Magee; his cousin Diane Ledet Spieler; and his godchildren, Bradley Spieler and Michael Lester. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorials to the American Cancer Society.
