It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Edgard Francis Sr. of Harvey, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepchild Melvilena Jefferson; his parents, Adam C. Francis and Dorothy M. Francis; and his siblings, Doris Cooper, Zahlaine Kelly and Theralaine Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Betty London Francis; his children, Bobbie Jr. (Alisha), Patrick Robinson, Catherine Francis Beloney (Derek), Dana Avist (Mike) and Quana Francis; his stepchildren, Calvin Rodrigue, Jr. (Samantha), Kalvilyn Griffin (Thomas) and Carlette Smith; his grandchildren, Earnest, Teshawn, Ca'Terra, Ashaad, Patrick, Jr., DaSean, Avery and Miracle; his siblings, Olidia Thomas, Rev. Kelford Francis (Andrea) and Myron Francis (Debora); and his stepbrothers, Rudolph and Clifford Francis. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and a host of step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
