It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belaire Theresa Nelson Payne of Harvey, Louisiana, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Letetia Nelson and Leroy Nelson Sr.; her brother Wesley Nelson; and her grandparents, James, Enola Perkins and Harriet Baskin.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy, Letetia (Alaric), Antonio (LaQuintia) and Tanya (Stanford). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five godchildren, eleven sisters and brothers, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews as well as a long list of friends.
