He was predeceased by: his spouse Joretta Walker Bourgeois; his child Glen P. Bourgeois; his sibling Lennox J. Bourgeois (late Lillian); and his mother Laura Hebert Bourgeois. He is survived by: his children, Michael Bourgeois (Mary), Michelle B. Akin (late Bill) and Karla M. Bourgeois; his granddaughter Celeste B. Tracy (Danny); his great grandchildren, Jacob Orin Tracy and Sara Grace Tracy; and his siblings, Bowman Bourgeois (Marilyn) and Carroll Bourgeois (Delia). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
