He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Smith and Bethel Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Michael Lockett, Samyya Antoinette Degree, Antoinette Latoya Degree and Dwayne Degree; his stepparent Marine Smith; and his siblings, Marvin Smith, Wendell Dennis, Wayne Marcelin, Shawn Jones, Clifford Brown, Quinte Matthews, Helen Williams, Marilyn Brown, Denise Smith, Linda Burton, Louise Burnett and Yolanda Smith Lewis. He is also survived by stepsister's nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
