Alvin Thomas Durgin III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Thomas Durgin III (Harvey, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Michael Durgin; and his parents, Dora Durgin, and Captain Alvin T. Durgin, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Budwey Durgin; his son Steven Durgin (Zoe); his sisters, Gwen Davis (Bill) and Susan LeBlanc (Rhett); and his grandchildren, Julia, Lydia and John Durgin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to Hospice and Pallative Care in Metairie.
