It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Joseph Turner (Harvey, Louisiana), born in Cottonport, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Kimiko Hosoya Turner; his parents, Armenia Armand Turner and Oge Turner; and his sibling Abbie Turner. He is survived by: his children, Robert Tuner, Lynn Turner and Charlotte Lawson (Dwight); his grandchildren, Stacy Torres, Chloe Torres, Brian Lawson and Paige Balser (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Kyrsten, Brian Jr., Dwight, Elijah, Avery and Beckham; and his siblings, Elden Turner, Edwin Turner, Esther T. Rachel, Cecilia T. Lemoine, Melvin Turner and Mary Lena Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
