He is survived by: his sons, Alfred IV and Gary Searls; his stepson James Rossel; his siblings, Gregory Searls, Michael Jackson (Patricia), Reginald Jackson, Eugene Jackson, Maria Gartrell (Edward) and Lillian S. Baker; his aunt Joyce Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA.; and his uncle Charles Manchester of Baton Rouge, LA.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
