It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Cater of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, born in Jigger, Louisiana, who passed away on May 30, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Earline Clawson Cater; his parents, Thomas Marion Cater and Tyra White Cater; and his siblings, Lois Christiansen, Faye Allen and Howard W. Cater.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas G. Cater (Jessica) of Harrisonburg, LA, Mike Cater (Terri) of Harrisonburg, LA and Paul Cater (Melissa) of Harrisonburg, LA; and his grandchildren, Jeffery Cater, Tyler Cater, Casey Cater, Jennifer Salisbury, Brooke Holland, Kylie Miller, Coty Parr, Shawn Russell and Erica Cater. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
