He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Aplin and Grace Sanson Aplin; and his parents-in-law, Lister and Doris Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Janis Alexander Aplin of Harrisonburg; his sister Mary Aplin Mobley (Alan) of Pineville; his niece Melissa Mobley Molina (Marco) of Pineville; his nephew Brian Mobley (Katie) of Pineville; his sister-in-law Martha Alexander Bryan (Kenny) of Whitehall; his niece Jenny Francis Parker (Jamie) of Jena; and his great-nieces, Grace, Emily Molina of Pineville and Cydney Parker of Jena.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be sent to the Harrisonburg Baptist Church mission fund.
