It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willa Sloan Cristina of Harahan, Louisiana, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sloan and Edna Sloan; her sister Wanda Lee Gould; and her husband Robert Cristina. She is survived by: her children, Vicki Morse (John), Nancy Clark, Janna Clark (Carol), Julie Johns and William Paul Spencer, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Kristin Carleton (Dave), Robin Vukoje (Dejan), Errin Lema (Corey), Eric Johns (Rachael), Robert Johns (Madeleine), Tyler Spencer (Adelle) and Nicolette Manzo (Tyler). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
