It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vita Roccaforte Martin of Harahan, Louisiana, born in Garyville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Michael J. Martin; her parents, Peter Roccaforte and Emma Roccaforte; and her brother Anthony Roccaforte. She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Martin; and her siblings, Patricia Migliore, Peter Roccaforte, Wanda Luquette, Mary Kliebert and Emma Roccaforte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was involved in coordinating charity events as well as a member of the red hat society.
