With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Marcella Barnewold (Harahan, Louisiana), born in Saint Rose, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2018 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Henry G. Barnewold, Jr.; her grandchild Timothy Barnewold; her parents, Antoinette Bové Marcella and Marc Marcella; and her siblings, Michael Marcella, Frank Marcella, Clara M. Cook, Madeline Marcella, Jack Marcella, Anthony Marcella and Mary Ann Marcella.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin T. Barnewold (Estelle), Richard J. Barnewold and Debra Ann Barnewold; her grandchildren, Scot (Donna), Patrick (Stacey), Charles Barthe Barnewold and Gina Delaune; and her great grandchildren, Jace, Justin, Reed, Riley and Timothy.
In lieu of flowers, masses said at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Kenner, LA preferred.
