He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Amelia Campbell Thieler and Herman W. Thieler; and his wife Mildred Kennedy Thieler. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Thieler; his brother Robert W. Thieler; his niece Nicole Thieler Klingman; and his nephew Donnie Carroll.
