Evelyn Rose Strain Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2021, at the age of 88, Evelyn Rose Strain of Harahan, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Strain; her parents, Paul St. Lucia and Lena St. Lucia; and her brother Stephen St. Lucia. She is survived by: her children, Jacob Charles Strain, Edward Gene Strain (Debbie) and Lucia Strain Nuss (Philip); her grandchildren, Jennifer Schreiner (Danny), Brian Nuss (Jessica), Tiffany Strain (Ty), Megan Strain (Tyler), Robyn Strain (Bill) and Jessica Strain (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Reese Paretti, Harper Rose Paretti, Savannah Giaccone, Giaccone, Cole Schreiner, Dylan Schreiner, Max Nuss, Ian Nuss, Evangeline "Evie" Lathrop, Abagail "Abby" Brooks, Wyatt Lathrop and Andrew "Drew" Brooks; and her sisters, Marie Sheehey and Frances Jacques. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
