She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mary "Jip" Phillips, Tom Nielsen (Pat), Jerry Nielsen (Christi), Bobby Nielsen (Stephanie), Anne Wheeler and Lorrie Cook (Erik); her children-in-law, Michael Phillips and Tammy Nielsen; her grandchildren, Aaron, David (Katie), Trey, Cory, Kristin (Alex), Taylor, Kelsey (Austin), Collin, Julia and Joshua; her husband Thomas Nielsen, Sr.; her son-in-law Rusty Wheeler; and her parents, Claude Songy and Fabiola Songy.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Francis Villa Assisted Living, whose staff provided loving care for the last two and a half months of Enid's life.
