He was predeceased by: his wife DeEsther Bolar Joseph; his daughter Antoinette Joseph Tillman; his parents, Walter Joseph, Sr. and Agnes Green; his brother Walter Joseph, Jr.; and his stepsons, John Edward and Anthony Polk.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Ernest Polk and Frank Polk; and his friend Pastors. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, 1 God daughter and a host of other relatives and friends.
