She was predeceased by: her father Harold McMillan; and her sister Betty McMillan Martin (Carroll). She is survived by: her husband Bob Shields; her daughters, Donna Shields Nix (Bobby) and Robin Shields Windstein (Timmy); her grandchildren, Craig Nix, Ryan Nix (Jamie), Haley Windstein and Hannah Windstein; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Easton and Nolan Nix. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Doris' memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
