He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Andrews Persigo; his parents, Earl Persigo and Claudia Theriot Persigo; his siblings, Paul Persigo and Gail Persigo Freeman; and his brother-in-law Prentiss Freeman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Persigo, Barbara Persigo and Patricia Gray (Scott); his grandson Nathan Miles Gray; and his sister-in-law Judy Persigo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
