Calvin Hingle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Hingle of Harahan, Louisiana, who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Berniece; his wife Phyllis Songy Hingle; his siblings, Daniel Hingle and Mercedes Dole; and his former wife Janet Fernandez Hingle.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Townsend, Jenny Robinson (Bruce), Andrea Fleming (Shawn), Pam Hatley (Mark), Stewart Hingle (Anna) and Jeff Hingle; his sisters, Mel Ehrlicher and Carolyn Hingle; his grandchildren, Andrew (Juliette), Jacob, Emily Townsend, Nathan (Angela), Jill, Amy Robinson, Desmond, Neal, Amelie Fleming, Ben (Allison), Chris Hatley, Kenny and Lauren Hingle; and his great grandchild Luella Townsend.

Due to COVID 19, the funeral service will be open to immediate family members only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher House Foundation for Veterans and their families.
