He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Jones and William Jones Sr.; his siblings, Mary Lou Jones Wakeham, Willis Shelton Jones Sr. and Penny Neal; and his grandparents, Willis, Mary Jones, Shelton and Janie Stilley.
He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn Schillage Jones; his daughter Sherri Lynn Jones Rester (Randy); his granddaughter Laci Shae Rester; his siblings, Essie Kinchen (Jerry) and Allen "Bootsie" Jones (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Glenda C. Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
