He is survived by: his children, Christina Higgins Bankston (Charles), Michael Higgins (Heidi), Howard Higgins (Marti) and William O Higgins; his siblings, Connie Vance Benton, Angela Schaefer and Alvin Vance; his grandchildren, Sam Bankston (Carman), Marshall Bankston (Allie), Billy Bankston (Felicia), Skyler, Daisy Higgins, Sage, Chase Higgins and Ina Higgins; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Emma, Natalie Bankston, John Michael, Andrew Hutchinson and Axel Pelham.
