She was predeceased by: her husband Arlon "Buddy" L. Cox, Jr.; her son Brian Cox; and her parents, Roy Misita and Gloria Cappe Misita. She is survived by: her daughter Krystal Cox; her granddaughter Alea Cox; her siblings, Sandy Basso (Eddie) and Roy G. Misita (Patti); and her pet Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Helena Catholic Church (122 S 1st St, Amite City, LA 70422). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery (908 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401).
