Sandra Christen Whiddon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Christen Whiddon (Hammond, Louisiana), who passed away on February 24, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd J. Christen and Lena L. Imbornone; her sister Carol A. Christen (Bennie W. Whiddon, Sr.); her stepson Garry D. Whiddon; and her siblings-in-law, Nathalie Cooper, Alton Whiddon, Claude Whiddon and Ivy Whiddon, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Christen D. Whiddon, Marisa W. McDonald (Joel) and Byron M. Whiddon; her stepchildren, Bennie Whiddon Jr. (Becky), Debbie Spiers (Dale) and Stormy Blair (Jay); her stepdaughter-in-law Bridget Whiddon; her grandchildren, Chloe Cooper (Trevor), Tyler McDonald (Brandi), Hannah McDonald (Nick Sullivan), Madison McDonald (Hunter Lewis), Matthew Whiddon (Mariam), Christopher Whiddon (Daphne), Jeremy Spiers (Tina), Rebecca Diamond (Glen), Joshua Spiers (Kali), John Thomas Spiers (Maggie Woods), Garry Whiddon Jr., Nathan Whiddon (Lily), Shaun Whiddon, Jacob Schwebel (Kelli) and Jason Schwebel (Falen Cleveland); her great grandchildren, Brennan, Brayden, Brooklynn McDonald, Raylynn, Rylan Sullivan, Leighton Whiddon, Alicia Cavin (Elijah), Alexis, Alyssa Spiers, Jaden Diamond, Landyn, Camden Spiers, Abby Schwebel, Jaelyn Schwebel, Garry and Daniel Whiddon; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lashouta (late Joseph), Frances Maurer (late Woodrow) and Ventriss McDonald (late Merle). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
