It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ryan Joseph Schexnayder Sr. of Hammond, Louisiana, born in Lutcher, Louisiana, who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Schexnayder, Sr. and Laura Nell Lambert Schexnayder; his brother Jeffrey Paul Schexnayder; his father-in-law Thomas Wintz, Sr.; and his pet Char.

He is survived by: his friend Santa; his wife Tammie Wintz Schexnayder; his children, Ryan Schexnayder, Jr. (Ann Megan Morse), Emma Schexnayder and Reid Schexnayder; his brothers, Brian Schexnayder (Marlene), Percy Schexnayder, Jr. (Leslie) and Ernie Schexnayder; his uncle Jay Schexnayder; his mother-in-law Margaret E. Wintz; and his brother-in-law Thomas Wintz, Jr. (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Interment will follow at St. Gabriel Catholic Church Cemetery in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home and the church and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family.
