He was predeceased by: his father Paul Louis Behler; his siblings, Delores Callahan, Myrtle Marino, Shirley Jackson, Paul Louis Behler, Jr. and Robert "Sonny" Behler; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Behler.
He is survived by: his wife Elda Martinez Behler; his daughters, Melissa Basse and Melinda Pazderny (Chris); his brother Coy Behler; his grandchildren, Steed Ubas Jr. (Traci), LCpl Brandon Basse, Marine Corp, SSgt Christopher McCreary and Ashleigh McCreary; his great grandchildren, Steed III, Sade, Sai and Brandon Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Jay "J. W." Jackson and Gerard "Jerry" Callahan. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
