We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2018, at the age of 52, Rex Alan Bardwell (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Covington, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl Shelton, Mary Shelton, Sonny Myers and Effie Myers; and his parents, Ervin O. and Vera Lee Shelton Bardwell.

He is survived by: his brothers, Ervin "Skeeter" Bardwell (Sharon) of Texarkana, Lester and Doodle Bug; and his nieces, Robin Taylor (Brad) of Texarkana, Lisa Crane (Jonathan), Brayden Taylor, Brooklynne Taylor and Jalanna Crane. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
