He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Bentivegna and Lena Rotolo Bentivegna; his former wife Audrey Bentivegna; and his brothers, Santo Bentivegna and Carogo Bentivegna.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Edwards Domiano Bentivegna; his children, Sandra Pierre, Carol Payne, Sherri Bentivegna, Dianne Waltman, Linda Pierre and Peter Luke Bentivegna, Jr.; his stepdaughters, Regina Bennett, Elizabeth Simms, Lisa Perrin and Phyllis Domiano Martin; and his sister Nora Lumino. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
