Owen Joseph Ockman Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Joseph Ockman Sr. of Hammond, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 5, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcel Ockman and Rita Trosclair Ockman. He is survived by: his wife Gaynell Eckerle Ockman; his children, George Herron, Owen J. Ockman, Jr. (Jessica), Chris Ockman, Amanda Ockman (Jeremy Messina), Debbie Cambre (Charles) and Bridgett Miller (Sean); his grandchildren, Cody Herron, Bria Durio (Cody), David Cambre (Lindsey), Faith Cambre, Emily Cambre, Avery Ockman, Olivia Ockman, Haley Miller and Angelle Herron; and his brothers, Rene Ockman (Dee) and Tejeune Ockman (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

A Memorial Service Celebrating Owen's Life will immediately follow visitation at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family.
