It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ora Madere Mulkey (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Laplace, Louisiana, who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Genivie Becnel and Ory Madere; her husband Charles William Mulkey Sr; her son Charles; and her daughter-in-law Pamela Mitchell Mulkey, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Tessie Mulkey; her son-in-law Michael Runyon, Sr.; her grandchildren, Michael Runyon, Jr., Hillery "Skeeter" Runyon (Tina Paquette), Doris Raborn (Matt) and Justin Mulkey; her great grandchildren, Charles William Runyon, Thomas Runyon and Jasmine Raborn; and her sisters, Marie Gentry, Brenda Tabb, Shelia Stein and Shirley Giusti.
