It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelda Sullivan Harper (Hammond, Louisiana), who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe Sullivan and Annie Laurie Willmott Sullivan; her siblings-in-law, Ivy Alonzo Harper Sr. and Loretta Thompson Harper; her daughter Julie Dee Harper; her son-in-law Don Kerr; and her siblings, Bobby, Jimmy, Ted Sullivan and Doris Sullivan Burns.
She is survived by: her spouse Ivy A. Harper, Jr. (Buddy); her children, Tammie Harper Kerr and Ivy A "Lonnie" Harper (Tiara); her grandchildren, Scarlet Wool Blackwell (Aaron), April Wool Ramos (Nando), Jared Stilley Harper (Jamie), Justin Eli Harper (Katie) and Karli Sherman; and her siblings, Gilbert Sullivan (Marilou), Joy Glasscock (Gene) and Rita McCrory. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
