He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Michel'Doub'; and his brother James Earl Lavigne. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Mary Michelle Lavigne Cutrer, Michel Terry Lavigne Jr. (Sandra), Scarlett Nicole Lavigne Shields (Niki) and Christopher Dustin Lavigne; his siblings, Richard Lavigne, Gregory Lavigne and Phyllis Lavigne Anderson; his grandchildren, Marvin Ray Cutrer, Jr., Katie Marie Cutrer Fortner (Chris), Zackery Daniel Shields, Ethan Michael Lavigne, Lyndsi Nicole Shields, Asher James Lavigne and Emmielou Rachelle Lavigne; and his great grandchild Lilith Rose Fortner.
