She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dorsey and Hester Brock Dorsey; her husband Oliver Kermit Chipley; her brother Donald Dorsey; her sons-in-law, Gary Peters and Brian Harrison; and her granddaughter Sheryl Ann Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheryl Till (Don), Vivian Johnson, Melba Anne Peters and Vanessa Harrison; her brothers, Ormond Dorsey and Lailon Dorsey (Frankie); her grandchildren, Chris Till, Leigh Sims, Cherish Groves, Jarrod Johnson and Faith Harrison; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Olivia, Emily Lovette, Grace, Carter and Luke Groves.
