We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2020, Madelaene Coy (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Ventura, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father William Ward Coy. She is survived by: her children, Rowaen Coy Johnson and Nicolas Guillermo Ruiz; her mother Patricia Arceneaux; her stepfather Paul Arceneaux; and her sister Quincy Coy Lee.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rowaen and Nico's college funds.

“I worked with Madelaene for several years at Mariners Inn. She truly cared for those around her. I'd like to share a memory of her that I think about now and then. We were at her apartment waiting for a new mattress she had ordered to arrive. Lo and behold there was a knock on the door. She comes back a minute later with a small box about 1' square. Looking slightly puzzled she genuinely asked "Do you think this is it?" That was one of the best laughs I've ever shared with someone. She is missed.”
