We are sad to announce that on May 28, 2023, at the age of 82, Louisette Schuyten Bordelon of Hammond, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartwig Schuyten and Luella Bonnabel Schuyten; and her brother Hartwig Andrew Schuyten, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Bordelon Burns (Ed), Lori Bordelon Davis, Jeff Bordelon (Molly), David Bordelon and Hart Bordelon (Noelle); her grandchildren, Brittany Bordelon Pellichino, Natalie Bordelon Umbach, Caroline Bordelon Pinion, Hannah Bordelon, Anne Burns, Trent Burns, Megan Davis, Andrew Bordelon and Holly Bordelon; and her great grandchildren, Kate Pinion, Duke Pellichino, Louella Umbach, Lilly Pinion, Luca Pellichino and Ridge Umbach.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice House "In memory of Lou Bordelon.".
