It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Wheeler Weatherford of Hammond, Louisiana, born in Hebert, Louisiana, who passed away on July 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lonnie Weatherford; her parents, A. C. Wheeler and Gertrude Wheeler; her daughter Judy Fusilier; her granddaughter Emily Smith; her siblings, A. C. Wheeler Jr., Cline Wheeler, Jerry Wheeler, Irene Clark, Claudine Rice Head and Earlene Johnston; her grandparents, Charles, Lona Wheeler, Leonard and Iona Dupree; and her daughter-in-law Diane Weatherford.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mayers (Robbie), Pamela Smith (Paul) and Lonnie Ray Weatherford (Marla); her son-in-law Johnny Fusilier; her brothers, Charles Wheeler, Roger Wheeler, Cliff Wheeler and Cloyce Wheeler; her grandchildren, Julia Naquin (Billy), Jonathan Fusilier (Valarie), Janet Hoq (Ahmedul), Clayton Mayers, Amanda Carey (Dermot), April Rushing (Chris) and Quentin Weatherford (Emily); her great grandchildren, Brittney, Whitney, Dustin, Shelby, Tyler, Jacob, Kirsten, Connor, Lauren, Rebecca, June, Desmond, Emmett and Lois; and her great great grandchildren, Grace, Brody, Colson, Chance, Wyatt, Lucas, Korie, Zoe and Miley.
