He is survived by: his wife Mary Carter of Hammond; his daughter Jennifer Johnson of Albany; and his siblings, Evangelist Robietine Graves (Willie) of Hammond, Elaine Brumfield-Jackson of Hammond, Gwendolyn Burton (Kenneth) of Ponchatoula and Samuel Ray Brumfield of Hammond. He is also survived by grandchildren, (14) great-grandchildren, and (1) great-great-grandchild.
