He is survived by: his daughter Dana Duplantier; his siblings, Bradley Duplantier, MD (Dorothy), Susan Duplantier Suarez, Wanda Duplantier Birdsall Gary (MD) and Allen Duplantier; his former wife Marilyn Duplantier; and his friends, Mardi Gras and Saints. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
