Jackson Jr. (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Garyville, Louisiana, who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence D. Jackson and Dora Ulrich Jackson; his wife Lorah Mae Drury Jackson; his daughter Debbie Jester; and his siblings, Constance Noel, Robert Jackson and Dorothy Langley.
He is survived by: his sons, L. D. Jackson, III (Alice) and Dennis Jackson; his granddaughters, Kelly Jester Koziol (Joe) and Denise Jackson Martin (Cody); his great grandchild Gavin; his niece Pat Graves (Richard); his great-niece Ragan Schmidt Kofoed (Jim); and his great-nephew Jonathan Schmidt (Michelle). He is also survived by 1 great great niece and 2 great great nephews.
