He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Lee and Mae Cleo Dunkin Jr.; his son David Michael Dunkin; his sister Opal Dunkin; and his son-in-law Donald Ray Bergeron.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Chustz Dunkin; his children, Brenda Dunkin Bergeron, Debbie Dunkin Alford (Dallas), Karen Dunkin Arnone (Shawn), Kenneth Dunkin III and Steven Wayne Dunkin; and his sister Patricia Dunkin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
