Katherine Jane Rae Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2022, at the age of 91, Katherine Jane Rae of Hammond, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Karolyn Wright and Roy Wright; her husband John "Johnnie" "J. E." Erwin Rae, Sr.; and her brothers, John Roy Wright III and Dr. Larry Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Rae and John Rae, Jr. (Debbie); her grandchildren, Michelle Downey Tureau (Charles), Milessa Rae Plemons (William), Carlton Downey (Kim), Melody Steib (Craig), Brandi McGee (Aaron) and Kate Rae; and her siblings, Dr. John Wright (Anne Rae), Peggy Price and Terry Wright (Mary Ann). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
