She is survived by: her father Cecil L. Coates; her stepfather Andrea Adams Brumfield; her children, James (Crystal), Ashley (Luke) and Desiree (Matthew); her grandchildren, Cullen, Adelie and Landry; and her siblings, Julie Coates and Brian Coates.
