Jayne Stacey Welford Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2021, Jayne Stacey Welford of Hammond, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Stacey and Iola Cooper Stacey; her husband Dr. Thomas Winfred Welford; her son Bradley Cooper Welford; and her brother Edward Lynn Stacey.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Katie Hudson Seymour (David); her children, Caroline Spiller Hudson, Anna Katharine Hudson, Samuel Carter Hudson and Benjamin Warren Hudson, Jr.; her cousin Travis McKenzie; her siblings-in-law, Joe Welford (Krista) and Nell Welford Snipes; and also Debbie Holtgren. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana. Pallbearers will be Timothy Bailey, Douglas Bailey, Marc Sutton, David Seymour, Ashton Sutton, and Warren Hudson. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family.
