It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Thompson Korowin (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Grenada, Mississippi, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Thompson and Ida Thompson; and her siblings, Dorotha Thompson and Booker T. Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Michael Korowin; her children, Ron Hamilton, Moniqueca Suggs (Rasheed Suggs) and Tasia Chestnut; and her grandchildren, Zavier, Gregory, Lila, Carter, Ari, Zoey, Alivia, Evelyn and Amerie.
