He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Howell and Mary Willene Husser Howell. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Foy Howell; and his children, Mary Howell Briatico (Michael), Diane Howell Vaughan (Warner), Jessica Speer (MIchael), Chad Cooper (Corinne Stewart) and Brad Cooper (Nikki Winn). He is also survived by six brothers, six sisters, nine grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.
