She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Stewart; and her parents, Joseph Leslie Fitzmorris and Florence Mae Dunn. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Kathleen; her son-in-law Kirk Reese of Las Vegas; her son John Damon; her daughter-in-law Kim Coco Stewart of Baton Rouge; her son James Paul Stewart of Albany; her grandchildren, Andrew Stewart, David Stewart (Camille), Theresa Stewart, Catherine Broussard (Everett), Michael Stewart, Anna Stewart and Kyle Stewart; her sisters, Florence Mae Fitzmorris and Kay Shrimpton; and her sisters-in-law, Joy Stewart and June Dowden.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (7738 Florida Blvd, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
