He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sanford Carter; his sons, Justin Michael Carter (Aly), Brandon Scott Carter (Jackie), Daniel Chris Pottersnyk (Katie) and Anthony Ray Morgan; his granddaughter Madeline Ann Carter; and his siblings, Sarah Ann Hill (Daniel), Danette Avis Townsend (Van) and Nicholas Alan Carter (Norma). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
